The Institute of Quarrying is the international professional body for quarrying, surface mining and the related extractive, processing and construction industries with over 6000 members in 50 countries worldwide. The annual IOQ Conference, recognised as South Africa’s premiere quarrying conference, is designed for the professional development of information exchange between industry peers and attracts in excess of 250 visitors from Southern Africa and abroad annually.
In attendance at this year’s conference were AEL customers, suppliers and competitors such as Lafarge, Afrisam, BME and Yeabo Mining among others.
Furthering our thought leadership position, AEL’s Blast Consult team of specialists presented technical papers and case studies at the plenary sessions while our product management team showcased our suite of products and services which form part of our value proposition, intelliBlastTM.
